Sprouts & Bloom
Where Confidence, Creativity & Connection Grow
Whole-child enrichment through creative learning, meaningful connection, and time in nature.
Sprouts
Ages 7-11, Co-ed
Growing Roots in Curiosity, Confidence, & Connection
Sprouts offers thoughtfully designed classes that help kids grow in confidence, emotional intelligence, communication, creativity, and self-awareness while fostering meaningful friendships and a strong sense of self.
Each weekly homeschool class blends movement, journaling, creative expression, nature, hands-on STEAM challenges, and engaging discussions with practical life skills that many kids simply aren't taught.
Our classes also weave in age-appropriate academic elements such as creative writing, reading, reflection, vocabulary, STEAM-based problem solving, and occasional real-world math activities, creating a meaningful enrichment experience that complements your homeschool journey while remaining hands-on, engaging, and fun.
Every class is designed around the belief that when kids feel calm, connected, and confident, they are better equipped to learn, communicate, navigate relationships, and grow into who they're meant to become.
At Sprouts, we're not just teaching lessons. We're helping kids develop the tools to thrive, both now and for years to come.
Bloom
Ages 10-14, Girls
A Journey into Identity, Intuition, & Inner Strength
Girls today are under a lot of pressure. They're asked to succeed, to be easy-going, to have it all figured out before they've even had the chance to ask who they are. Bloom is a weekly class built to give them something different: real space to slow down, be honest, and get to know themselves.
Bloom offers a thoughtfully designed weekly class that helps girls grow in confidence, emotional intelligence, communication, and self-awareness while fostering meaningful friendships and a strong sense of self.
Each week blends journaling, creative expression, art projects, guided discussion, and time in nature with practical life skills that many girls simply aren't taught; how to name what they're feeling, how to speak up for themselves, and how to navigate friendships with more honesty and less confusion.
Sessions may also weave in reading selections and reflection to give girls language for what they're moving through, creating a meaningful space that complements her growth while staying grounded, engaging, and real.
Every class is designed around the belief that when girls feel calm, connected, and confident, they are better equipped to communicate, navigate relationships, and grow into who they're meant to become.
At Bloom, we're not just teaching lessons. We're helping girls develop the tools to thrive, both now and for years to come.
What Your Child Will Gain
Every class is intentionally designed to help kids develop the inner skills that support them not only now, but throughout adolescence and beyond.
Through meaningful experiences, supportive friendships, and real opportunities to discover who they are, kids gradually build:
- Greater confidence in who they are and what they have to offer
- Practical tools for managing stress, big emotions, and everyday challenges
- Stronger communication skills and healthier ways to navigate friendships
- A deeper understanding of boundaries, self-respect, and healthy relationships
- Increased self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience
- The ability to slow down, reflect, and trust their own inner wisdom
- Creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning
- Meaningful connections with others in a kind, encouraging community
In Sprouts, this is paired with real academic skill-building: reading, creative writing, vocabulary, reflection, and real-world math, woven naturally into each week's theme, making it a meaningful part of your homeschool enrichment.
These aren't simply lessons to remember. They're life skills your child can continue building long after each class ends.

Select your class belowHi, I'm Melissa.
...educator, emotional mentor, and mama of two. For over 20 years, I've worked closely with kids and teens in educational and enrichment spaces, and I believe some of the best learning happens hands-on and outdoors: through art, movement, creative expression, and real questions to ponder, build, and explore together. Kids gain lasting confidence not from being told the answer, but from being trusted to create, move, and figure things out for themselves.
This is the work I do now: helping kids and teens learn the skills school so often leaves out: communication, nervous system regulation, mental reframing, and how to actually understand themselves, alongside everything else they're already learning.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a teaching credential, and my approach blends real academic depth with intuitive, nature-based, and hands-on creative practices. I bring together experiential learning, emotional tools, and nervous system awareness in a way that feels calm, intentional, and heart-led, while remaining age-appropriate, grounded, and deeply supportive.
Sprouts and Bloom were created as the kind of space I wish I'd had at these ages: a space where curiosity is celebrated, where being sensitive is a strength, and where every child, however they learn best, is reminded that they already belong, just as they are.
