FOR WOMEN HEALING FROM TOXIC, MANIPULATIVE RELATIONSHIPS

I got very good at becoming whoever I needed to be so everyone else would be okay.

For years, I would have told you I wasn't afraid of anything. But I just didn't know that my body had been telling a different story all along. One I couldn't hear yet.

Why I do this work

Like many of the women I work with, I grew up learning to stay small. To accommodate. To long for connection while quietly abandoning myself to find it.

My own excavation, through spiritual practice, nervous system work, and a lot of honest reflection, showed me what had actually happened. Not just in my relationships but also in my body.

I began to recognize that the feelings I was experiencing as an adult were remarkably familiar. I had spent years becoming exceptionally good at being what I thought other people needed, without realizing how much of myself I was leaving behind in the process.

Most women who struggle in their relationships don't lack self-awareness. In reality, they never had the safety to be fully embodied and actually live inside themselves. They learned to hide, accommodate, perform, and stay attuned to everyone else so early and so completely that by adulthood, they had no idea how much of themselves they'd left behind.

That realization became the foundation of everything I do.

I don't work with women to help them find better relationships. I work with them to help them find themselves. Because when a woman finally feels safe being fully who she is, her choices change. She starts listening to what she needs, instead of whatever keeps the peace.

The Heart Behind My Method

With nearly 20 years in education and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring both clinical depth and practical grounding to this work. My approach draws from Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, nervous system science, and spiritual honesty.

I don't guide from a professional background alone. I meet this work with lived experience and a genuine understanding of what it costs a woman to keep choosing herself last.

These aren't techniques layered on top of each other. They're woven together because healing isn't one-dimensional either. We can understand something intellectually and still find ourselves reacting from a place that feels completely outside our conscious choice. The deeper work is learning to recognize what is happening within you, understand where those patterns came from, and begin creating a different experience from the inside out.

Talk therapy gave me real insight. I could understand my patterns intellectually long before I could actually feel different in my body. That gap is what led me toward somatic work, nervous system science, and Internal Family Systems: not to replace what therapy gave me, but to build on that understanding and reach the places that insight alone couldn't reach.

There's a gospel song I've carried with me since childhood - This Little Light of Mine. It comes back to me every time I sit with a woman in this work. Because that's exactly what I see. The light was never gone. It just got buried beneath years of hiding, performing, and adapting to survive.

Everything I do is in service of that one thing. Clearing what's on the surface so every woman can finally let her light shine.
